So we had a nice sleep in. Mom, Kevin and the kids went to church (we figured it was safer that way as Christine and I would be struck by lightening if we went in).
I realized I also forgot to introduce Consuela (aka Chica) yesterday. She won't come near anyone she doesn't know but by the time she leaves, her and I are going to be besties if it kills me.
Kay made us breakfast trying a new recipe she found on Pintrest for pancakes using cake mix and milk. They were delicious!
After doing a bit of picking up, Mom, Cindy, Chris and I went for mani/pedis. Moms first time ever getting a pedi in her life. I believe she found her happy place.
Moms nail technician Holly picked a different color for mom than what she selected. Christine said to mark this down as an old lady color.
Once moms pedi was done she was literally walking up to people coming in saying don't my feet look great. Yep, she is hooked; but we all have pretty feet and hands now.
Once we were done we headed to the store to get more supplies for drinks and then headed home.
Everyone was already at the house, Kevin had the smoker going and I got the drinks on.
Kay's sister Diane and her family came. Cindy and Diane hadn't seen each other in a while so it was a great family reunion day for them.
Cindy also completed her ice bucket challenge. Maybe it's just me but I think Samantha looks evilly happy dumping the water on Cindy.
The rest of the day was spent hanging out with the family. A nice quiet day for this vacation.
